What is SurveyPie?
SurveyPie is a powerful online survey tool. It helps you to create online surveys like a pro within 5 minutes.
What can I do using SurveyPie?
You can create online surveys, polls and all kinds of web forms to collect information using SurveyPie.
What browser should I use?
You can use any browsers you like. We make sure the system is fully compatible to all major web browsers. Recommended browsers: Firefox 3.0 and above; Google Chrome; Safari; IE 7 and above
Will you delete my surveys?
No. SurveyPie will never delete any of your surveys or data. But if we noticed there is information against our Terms of Use, we will close your survey and send you an email to tell you why.
Is SurveyPie compatible with MAC system?
Our service is totally web-based. As long as you can use a browser, you can use our service to create web surveys or forms.
Is my information secure with you?
Definitely! All your personal information and responses you collected are stored securely on our server. And we will never share or sell your data to any third-party agencies.
Where is your server?
Our server is in California, USA.
How soon can you respond to my enquiries?
Due to time differences and resource limit, we can't give you a solid respond-time. But we always try our best to work things out ASAP. Please allow sufficient time for us to study your problem and get back to you.
Will you contact my respondents without my consent？
No, we will never contact your respondents and we will never ask your permission to do so. If you have been contacted for this kind of permissions by anyone claiming himself a SurveyPie staff, please contact us immediately.
Account & payments
What kind of payment do you accept?
Currently we only accept payments via PayPal. So make sure you have an active PayPal account before trying to proceed with your payment.
Will my account expire?
No, your account will never expire even if you never buy any coins at all. Feel free to register!
Is there any limitation on my account if I don't buy coins?
We promise there are no limitations on your surveys, questions or responses. And all our basic features are free to use. Only few Pro features are disabled but can be enabled separately.
Create survey
1. Can I add images or other multi-media content to my surveys?
Yes, SurveyPie fully support multi-media contents. You can add multi-media to your survey or to a question. You can also brand your surveys with your Logo.
What are Logic Rules?
Logic rules are usually used to dig information from you respondents. You create a path to guide your respondents through the survey, so they only need to answer questions suit their conditions. This helps you to screen out void data, saves your time and energy on data analysis work.
1. If I add logic rules to questions, do they have to be mandatory?
No they don't have to be mandatory questions.
1. I set a question logic rule to be "End Survey", why didn't it work?
The option "End Survey" can only be used in multi-page surveys. It will be activated after the respondents click on "Next page" button. Details of Logic Rules please see Tips on setting up Logic Rules.
Deploy survey
Can I create my survey in other languages besides English?
You can create surveys in any languages you prefer. But unfortunately we now only support English and Chinese (Both Simplified and Traditional) as our system language (languages shown on submit buttons and in other notification text). To make your surveys works, please design your surveys in your preference language and give sufficient descriptions. We are now developing new language packs and will inform you once the new packs are released.
What's the difference between 'a href' code and 'iframe' code?
'a href' code creates a text link leading to your survey and iframe code embeds the whole survey into your website. iframe code is recommended for advanced website masters only.
Can I edit my survey after I deploy it?
You can edit your survey anytime, even after you have deployed it. But please note that once you delete or change a question in your survey, responses you collected will also be changed. Deleted questions and responses can NOT be recovered.
Reports
Is there any limit on response counts?
There is no limit on surveys or responses. You can collect as many responses as you need.
Can I turn my surveys into Word files for printing?
Sorry we currently don't have that feature. You need to copy the survey into a Word file by hand, and there may be some alter in question or survey formatting.
Why is the completion rate in my report over 100%?
This can only happen when there is abusive behaviour on your survey. When someone uses a robot to submit a large quantity of repeated votes, the responses count will rise but the visit count stays low and finally result in a completion rate over 100%. If you find your survey completion rate is over 100%, please contact us immediately. We will process your data to rule out void ones.
